Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting a caring culture that puts people first and acts with integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation. Position Details Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day/Time Sat 12:00 PM – 08:00 PM Sun 12:00 PM – 08:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and observe incoming and outgoing deliveries to help support authorized entry, orderly traffic flow, and compliance with location rules. Assist with security‑related reporting, communication, and follow‑up related to policy violations, operational disruptions, and/or emergency events while maintaining professional interactions with all site personnel. Minimum Requirements A guard card and/or license is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
