Positions are available for both elementary and junior high resource teachers in a fully onsite contract role. Opportunities include full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time (30 hours per week) schedules depending on your preference and experience. Openings for the full school year include:

• Elementary Resource Teacher (1.0 FTE)
• Junior High Resource Teacher (1.0 FTE)
• Junior High Support Center Teacher (1.0 FTE)
• Elementary Resource Teacher (0.8 FTE)

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Previous experience with elementary and/or junior high students in a resource or support role, preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and differentiation strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and families
• Commitment to building positive relationships with students and creating a welcoming, inclusive learning environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

In this role, you will:

• Provide specialized instruction in a resource or support center setting, adapting lessons to individual student needs
• Develop, maintain, and track progress on IEPs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers
• Engage families as partners in their child’s education
• Support social, emotional, and academic growth for students with various learning needs
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing professional learning, and school events
