RN - CVOR

This is a 13-week contract position for a CVOR Registered Nurse with a day shift schedule of 4x10 hours, running from 05:30 to 14:00. Job Description The CVOR Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting. The RN will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Responsibilities Perform and support cardiovascular procedures including CABG, thoracotomy, TAVR, Mitra Clips, AVR, pericardial window, MVR, and pacemaker procedures. Respond to code situations and maintain fire safety protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care delivery. Participate in ongoing training and education related to CVOR procedures and best practices. Take call every other week as part of the nursing staff rotation. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR nursing. Current and valid RN license in Florida or compact license required. ACLS certification required. Experience with Cerner charting system preferred. Must be comfortable with patient ratios of 1:1.
