Position Summary:

We are hiring a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality breast imaging services at our Dallas location. Candidates must be ARRT-certified in Mammography and MQSA compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Educate and position patients to ensure comfort and image accuracy
• Maintain MQSA compliance and quality control documentation
• Perform daily equipment quality checks
• Accurately document exams and patient records

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a Mammography (M) credential.
• .MQSA - compliant credentials
• 2+ years of mammography experience preferred
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills 

Skills:

The Mammography Technologist utilizes technical skills daily to operate complex imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced. Attention to detail is critical when positioning patients and reviewing images to detect any technical errors or artifacts. Communication skills are essential for explaining procedures to patients, alleviating their concerns, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. Problem-solving abilities are applied when troubleshooting equipment issues or adapting techniques to accommodate patient needs. Continuous learning and adaptability enable the technologist to stay current with evolving imaging technologies and regulatory requirements, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
