Clinical Role
Join a busy Emergency Department team in Marion, Indiana, providing high-acuity emergency medicine coverage across multiple ED areas. Providers will manage a broad spectrum of cases in a fast-paced environment where physicians handle the most critical trauma cases.

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Types: Day, Night, Weekend
No Call

Position Highlights
Busy ED environment with multiple treatment areas
High patient volume across all pods
Physicians manage highest-acuity trauma (e.g., gunshot wounds)
12-hour shift structure only
No 24-hour shifts allowed

Schedule & Coverage
12-hour shifts only
Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Schedule includes day, night, and weekend rotation as assigned

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
ED Main: 22 beds + 5 hallway beds + 6 fast-track beds
ED East: 11 beds
Express Care: 6 beds

Patient Volume (per provider):
ED Main: 15-20
ED East: 10-12
Express Care: 15-20

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat ED patients
• Manage urgent and non-urgent presentations
• Work alongside supervising physicians
• Stabilize patients and support throughput
• Document care in EMR

Support & Technology
EMR: Meditech
Physician support for high-acuity cases
Fast-paced, high-volume emergency department setting

Requirements
NP - Emergency Medicine experience required
Comfortable in high-acuity ED setting required
Ability to manage fast-paced patient volume required
PAs not accepted

Organization & Team
Large, busy emergency department system
Physician-led trauma and critical care coverage
Multiple ED zones for patient flow optimization
Strong interdisciplinary support model
