Position: Occupational Health Nurse

Client: Manufacturing

Location: Hendersonville, NC 28792 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Pay Range: $37 - 42/hr

Qualifications:

• BSN/BS with 3–5 years of Occupational Health experience preferred
• Active RN license required
• Case management experience required
• CPR/AED certified; Occupational Health, CAOHC, and Spirometry certifications preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills
• Knowledge of OSHA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, EAP, occupational health, safety, and industrial hygiene

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage work-related injuries/illnesses, workers' compensation cases, and return-to-work programs
• Administer leave management programs (FMLA, STD, accommodations)
• Oversee onsite Occupational Health Clinic operations and medical surveillance programs
• Maintain confidential medical records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Partner with HR, Safety, and Industrial Hygiene teams on workplace health, risk assessments, and employee wellness initiatives
• Provide treatment, referrals, vaccinations, fit-for-duty evaluations, and emergency response support
• Assist with accident investigations and workplace injury prevention efforts.
