Finishing Operator

Sherrill, NY | $20.00/Hour
Monday - Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a stable, full-time position with a 3-day weekend every week? We are seeking a reliable Finishing Operator to join our manufacturing team in Sherrill, NY. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining automated production equipment to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

• Move stock and materials to support production operations.
• Fill hoppers and feeding systems for automatic equipment.
• Start and operate automated machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and keep machines running efficiently.
• Clear jams, clean machines, and restart equipment as needed.
• Maintain and monitor feeding devices to ensure proper stock movement.
• Adjust or clear air lines, cylinders, and related components when necessary.
• Change coils, gas cylinders, wire, blades, and other production materials.
• Thread dies, feed wire, oil slides, grease arms, align fixtures, and make equipment adjustments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials safely.
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
