Field Service Technician II

ROLE OVERVIEW: A leading technology services organization is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support commercial printing and imaging equipment in a customer-facing, field-based role. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining copiers, printers, and multi-function devices. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine maintenance and break/fix repairs on digital imaging equipment, including copiers, printers, and multi-function devices Respond promptly and professionally to customer service calls at client locations Maintain accurate service documentation, including field service and expense reports Identify and report product failure trends and serviceability issues to management Ensure all assigned equipment meets operational performance standards Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor Follow all site-specific safety protocols and customer requirements Support uptime and reliability in a 24/7 service environment QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required 1 to 2 years of related technical or field service experience Basic understanding of networked or internet-connected equipment Ability to complete required technical training programs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Willingness to travel within assigned territory Ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work and on-call rotations Ability to obtain required security clearances for customer sites Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, and kneeling for extended periods ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a customer-facing role and may require compliance with client-specific policies, including health and safety protocols EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT: Nova Talent Solutions partners with clients who are committed to equal employment opportunity.
