Press Operator Assistant

We are currently looking for a Press Operator Assistant to join our production team. This role works closely with our press operators in handling materials, running equipment, and assisting with other tasks as needed.

This is a great opportunity to expand your existing skills or gain experience in a new field. Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred. Printing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules and prioritize work based on due dates.
• Pre-press setup and post-press breakdown.
• Operate printing press and other machinery, following safety protocols and procedures.
• Learn multiple processes for different types of equipment and materials.
• Work effectively with other team members for high-quality product output.
• Show consistent attention to detail and accuracy based on order specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace, following company policies and procedures.
• Stand for the duration of the shift. Consistently lift and move items of varying size and weight (up to 50 lbs) following proper techniques.

Requirements

• Some manufacturing and material handling experience.
• Flexographic printing experience is a plus.
• Familiar working in a warehouse setting.
• Record of reliable attendance.
• Ability to take direction and apply training and complete tasks correctly.
• Basic to intermediate math and computer skills.
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude, willing to learn, and eager to expand current skill set.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:45 pm (Full-time, 40+ hours/week)

Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Hourly pay BOE.
