About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Alternative Payment Models to play a pivotal role in the development, negotiation, and execution of strategic value-based contracts. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the organization's growth, leading initiatives to ensure sustainable financial practices while maintaining a commitment to high-quality, accessible care. This leadership position requires a strategic approach to contracting, the ability to create and implement governance processes, and a focus on driving innovative payment models that align with the company's mission. The VP will also be responsible for clear communication of the company's value proposition to external entities, particularly within Medicaid-specific frameworks, and will work closely with the executive team to shape the organization's payor strategy. Applicants for the Vice President of Alternative Payment Models role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' experience in managed care or a high-functioning provider organization, with a strong background in value-based contracting and medical economics. Deep knowledge of Medicaid, government payor systems, and experience in contracting with risk-bearing entities are essential. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in negotiating high-impact contracts, leading teams, and managing high-visibility initiatives. Strong project and people management skills are required, as is the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. An MBA or MHA from a leading program, as well as extensive experience in behavioral health-related services contracting, are desirable.
