About This Role The Staff Education RN - Perioperative collaborates with various stakeholders to develop and implement educational strategies and programs that align with departmental and organizational goals. This role is ideal for experienced RNs looking to enhance staff education and competency in a perioperative setting. Highlights Pay: $65 - $79/hour Location: Baldwin Park, CA Facility: Kaiser Permanente Schedule: Full Time What You'll Do Develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs to meet regulatory requirements and organizational needs. Design, develop, coordinate, and evaluate activities for continuing professional education for staff. Collaborate with consultants to develop special projects in professional education, development, and learning. Communicate and market education programs to a broad target audience based on assessed needs. Make recommendations for cost/quality strategies and serve as an expert resource to staff. Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate orientation and competency processes for clinical staff. Evaluate performance issues and develop strategies for remediation. Respond to changes in clinical practice and provide necessary training and education. Participate in leadership projects, meetings, committees, and improvement activities. Ensure compliance and documentation of organizational records based on regulatory standards.
