You must hold Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications. The Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) credential is highly recommended for travel ICU nurses. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong decision-making skills are also recommended.
