Senior System Administrator

We're looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to support mission-critical applications and infrastructure for the DIA. This is a hands-on Linux administration role where deep experience supporting enterprise systems will be especially valuable. Oracle experience is highly desired, particularly for environments supporting established and legacy applications. What You'll Work With Application technologies: Java, JPA, JAX-RS, JCE, Hibernate, Spring, JavaScript, Apache Ant, Apache and Apache Tomcat Databases: Apache Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and OracleDB Platforms and security: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9, FIPS, SELinux, firewalld, fapolicyd, and general Linux system administration What You'll Bring 10+ years of relevant professional experience Bachelor's degree at minimum; a Master's degree is preferred Security+ certification Strong Linux and systems administration experience Active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred. For the right candidate, an active TS/SCI without a CI Poly may be sufficient. Candidates with Poly credentials will be prioritized. Oracle experience is highly desired Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and SQL is highly desired Location This is a full-time onsite position supporting operations at DIA HQ in Washington, DC, Reston, VA, or College Park, MD .
