Pediatric Surgery Center-Tampa is hiring an Anesthesia Technologist. Pediatric Surgery Center is designed to meet both the emotional and medical needs of children and their families before, during and after a procedure. Specialty areas include ENT, GI, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental.

Pediatric Surgery Center Tampa is now hiring an Anesthesia Technician. Position Responsibilities include:

• Assist anesthesia providers in the OR with airway management and IVs.
• Respond and assist in emergencies.
• Order, stock and maintain anesthesia supplies.
• Maintain anesthesia machines, crash cart & malignant hyperthermia carts daily.
• Respond to emergencies in other departments.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Assist with positioning patients for surgical procedures.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Anesthesia Tech training
• BLS certification required.
• Two years experience as Anesthesia Tech required.
• Good communication skills with physicians, staff and patients.
• Understands operations of anesthesia machine, monitors, C02 analyzers, 02 sat analyzers.
