Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU Experience Required

Location: Washington State

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be Level IV NICU trained, equipped to work with both adult floors and ICU patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about providing high-quality respiratory care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert respiratory care for neonates and adults in various settings including NICU, Adult floor, and ICU.
• Perform assessments and manage ventilator settings to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports.
• Administer treatments such as CPAP, BiPAP, and ECMO as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with mandatory NICU experience.
• Current RRT certification.
• Washington State Respiratory license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, and PALS are preferred.
