DMH Electric is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for customers while supporting daily service operations through phone communication, scheduling, dispatch coordination, follow-ups, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, and can effectively multitask while keeping operations organized and running smoothly. Customer Service & Communication
- Answer incoming customer calls professionally and provide exceptional customer support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for service inquiries, scheduling requests, warranty concerns, and general questions
- Maintain positive and professional communication with customers, technicians, and internal staff
- Follow up with customers regarding appointments, scheduling updates, service changes, and outstanding information
- Accurately document customer interactions, updates, and job details within internal systems
- Assist in resolving customer concerns while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Schedule service calls, repairs, diagnostics, follow-up visits, and warranty appointments
- Coordinate technician schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Confirm appointments with homeowners and businesses while communicating arrival windows and expectations
- Adjust schedules proactively for cancellations, delays, emergencies, or priority service calls
- Communicate important customer and job details clearly to service technicians
- Create and maintain service tickets, customer records, job notes, and follow-up tasks
- Assist with permits, inspections, and service-related documentation as needed
- Maintain organized digital records for service files, permits, invoices, and customer information
- Assist with estimates, quotes, change orders, and technician paperwork
- Track job progress and ensure service requests are completed in a timely manner
- Support the service team with additional office and administrative tasks as needed
- Previous customer service, scheduling, dispatch, administrative, or office experience preferred
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning new systems and technology
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
- Experience with CRM systems, scheduling software, or dispatch systems is a plus
