Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Pride Health is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist / Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join a leading healthcare organization on a 1-year contract in Rochester, MN The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory testing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced environment while supporting high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluid specimens to support patient diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and assay systems. Perform quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results. Evaluate test performance and assist with interpreting laboratory findings as appropriate. Retrieve patient information and report laboratory results using multiple laboratory information systems. Maintain laboratory workflow by supporting operational activities that optimize testing capabilities. Adhere to established laboratory safety protocols when handling infectious specimens, hazardous chemicals, and other biological materials. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a Biological Science . Ability to produce accurate results while working under strict time constraints. Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, changing laboratory environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility to accommodate scheduling adjustments, including off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation. Experience working with laboratory assay systems. Previous experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting. Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Training Schedule: May require a 7:00 AM start during training to align with trainer availability.
