Virtual Teacher

Work as an after-school virtual teacher with K-12 students Deliver education services in reading and mathematics in a small group learning environment Implement program components and work closely with school personnel and parents Collaborate with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students Plan and deliver effective instruction in a small group setting Administer pre- and post-assessments Consistently track student progress and data Manage the classroom effectively Escort students to and from the Title I classroom Provide a safe and positive learning environment Work collaboratively with a supervisor, fellow educators, and teaching aides Requirements Certified Teacher required Experience working with Title I students a plus Computer and Computer proficiency required Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents Must be able to lift 30 pounds Work location is in a school building where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer Applicants must be presently eligible to work in the United States Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in delivering effective instruction in reading and mathematics to K-12 students, particularly in a Title I setting.
