Henpen Consultants is recruiting a Supplier Quality Manager for a confidential growing aerospace manufacturer. Reporting to the Vice President of Quality this leader will build and manage the supplier quality program strengthen supplier performance and reduce supplier-related quality costs.

This hands-on opportunity combines program development supplier audits corrective action and collaboration with suppliers ranging from small businesses to major aerospace manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish supplier quality policies procedures and performance systems.
• Develop supplier scorecards quality metrics and accountability programs.
• Lead supplier audits qualification activities and risk assessments.
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and verify effective resolution.
• Help suppliers improve manufacturing quality and address recurring problems.
• Establish processes to recover supplier-related quality costs.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to improve supplier performance.
• Analyze quality trends and reduce incoming defects and supplier parts-per-million (PPM) rates.
• Prioritize improvement efforts for high-risk and underperforming suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality or a related field.
• 7 years of supplier quality experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards and supplier management practices.
• Experience with supplier audits corrective actions and performance improvement.
• Strong negotiation communication and relationship management skills.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Olney Texas and travel up to 50%.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
