Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Responsible for directing production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas. Duties include planning, assigning and directing work, addressing and resolving product and employee complaints, ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable laws, maintaining production efficiency, quality and employee safety, and coordinating production schedules to meet run assignments. Key responsibilities: Supervise production staff and manage work assignments to maximize productivity. Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and adjust machines as needed. Coordinate and communicate production schedules, estimating worker hour requirements for production runs. Use ERP system to complete production data entry, reporting results, volume, OEE, downtime by product type, and order. Review production/packaging records, cleaning lists, schedules, accident reports, investigations, and other documentation. Coordinate and conduct employee training and monitor performance. Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Analyze, identify root cause issues, and implement preventive measures using CI methods. Job Requirements: Associate’s degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience. 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices. Saputo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
