Set Up Tech
1st Shift 6am to 2:30pm
$18/hr
- Place metal parts to be plated on plating racks; Remove metal parts from plating racks post plating.
- Ensure plated parts are clean and dry, using compressed air and clean towels.
- Inspect plated areas for defects, such as staining, air bubbles or uneven coverage.
- The employee must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, carry and move up
- to 50 pounds without assistance. (However, the majority of these parts are not this heavy)
- Must be able to speak,
- read and write in English; able to give and receive clarification and respond to questions
- Basic shop math necessary (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals and fractions
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail. (this is VERY important)
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 1+ years related experience is a plus, but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience,
- or related industry in a manufacturing environment. (One year of manufacturing experience is strongly preferred)
