Senior Tax Accountant for Small Business Advisory

OverviewWe have a tremendous opportunity for a tax-based Senior Accountant to play a key role on our Small Business Advisory (SBA) team. As a highly valued member of our Firm, you will work closely with the SBA team to provide timely, accurate, and reliable completion of client engagements. Come join an organization with unlimited potential for you as you maintain a healthy work/life balance in our unlimited paid time off environment!ResponsibilitiesPrepare and/or review complex business and individual returns and/or perform financial statement compilationsPrepare and/or review client special projects such as budgeting and cash flow projectionsDevelop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative accounting, tax planning, consulting, and/or compliance solutionsAbility to identify and research tax and accounting issues, develop resolutions and prepare written conclusionsAbility to effectively manage and schedule deadlinesAssist with the developing, training, and mentoring of staff and internsRequired Qualifications:A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 150 credit hours that qualify towards pursuit of a CPAProgress towards completion of a CPA and/or an EAA minimum of three years of experience in a public accounting firmAbility and willingness to travel (approx. one day a week) as client base extends to Albany, NYProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to learn firm technology, present and futureThe salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $85,000 and is commensurate with experience.Hours Of Operation:Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through FridayOur summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on FridayWe pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak timesAt The Bonadio Group, we believe that an inclusive work environment allows all of our people to achieve their greatest potential and the greatest results for our clients and communities.
