Quick Facts Location: 49 Forest Road, Kiryas Joel, NY 10950 Start Date: 07/06/2026 End Date: 10/05/2026 Shift: 5x8-Hour days (09:00 - 17:00) + 1 24-hour hospital call shift per week Hours/Week: Varies with shift schedule Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: NY Medical License, DEA, Board Certified in OB/GYN Experience: Prior OB/GYN experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $222.30 Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursement when applicable What You'll Do Provide OB/GYN services to a diverse patient population of teenagers and adults Conduct deliveries at Good Samaritan Hospital, supporting approximately 1,500 deliveries annually Perform routine gynecological care and obstetric consultations Participate in on-call rotations, supporting labor and delivery as needed Collaborate with midwives and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care Utilize electronic medical records (EMR eClinicalWorks) for documentation Support onsite ultrasound procedures and patient assessments What You Need Active NY Medical License and DEA Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (must be BC, not BE) Minimum of 2+ years OB/GYN clinical experience Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work comfortably in a hospital setting with on-call responsibilities About the Assignment This position supports a community health center with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology, offering a mix of clinic and hospital-based work. The facility provides onsite ultrasound imaging, with deliveries occurring at a well-respected hospital.
