As a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. Compassionate and sensitive is a prerequisite. Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification. BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families Work Experience At least 2 years of experience. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and recommend a treatment plan. Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Insert and remove endotracheal tubes. Perform timely and accurate documentation. Promote continuous quality improvement. Teach and counsel patients and families.
