DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and devote himself/herself to guaranteeing satisfaction to customers. Contribute to making Bob Caldwell #1 in Columbus area. Greet customers on the sales floor and lot. Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening. Demonstrate new and used vehicles highlighting vehicle features (includes test drives). Maintains current knowledge of inventory and incoming vehicles. Deliver new vehicles to customers. This process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty. Attend sales meetings. Maintain owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction. Maintain a prospect development system that includes recording a daily record of all customers and telephone follow-up with each. Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers. Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses. Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively. Know and understand the federal, state, and local laws, which govern retail auto sales. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations. SPECIFIC MINIMUM GUIDELINES: Sell and deliver at least 8 retail units per month. Follow telephone procedure, prospecting techniques, and follow-up system. Go on all demo rides with customers unless approved by department manager. Have every customer meet a manager, see the service department, and hear our story of reputation and rank. Log every customer with as full information as possible, and follow up. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Certificates, Licenses, registrations: Must have and maintain a valid Ohio driver's licenses and a good driving record. Must have a valid Ohio Salespersons sales license or able to-qualify for one when hired. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate automatic vehicles. A Salesperson will stand six to eight hours per shift, lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds several times during each shift.
