Job Title: Mammographer Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4/10s Hours per Shift: 7AM - 6PM, Monday through Thursday Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Current valid State License in Radiology Certifications: ARRT Certification in Radiology, Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Experience in operating teleradiology and fax equipment Description: This position provides specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The areas of focus include Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT). The purpose of this position is to serve as the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist. Responsibilities include the technical operation of radiologic x-ray equipment. The role also entails the processing of radiographic images. Candidates must have successfully completed radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology. They should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the radiology field. Candidates must possess and maintain a current valid State License in Radiology (R). Certification in Radiology ARRT (R) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is also mandatory.
