Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - $32-48 per hour

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg Location: Saint Peters, Missouri. Employment Type: Part‑time, Night Shift, Ongoing Staff position. Role Summary Provides direct patient care activities in a medical/surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Key Responsibilities Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment; educates patients and families on post‑treatment home care and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engages in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with interprofessional team members and patient/family/caregivers. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the care plan across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assesses patient preferences and involvement barriers, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and other population‑specific needs. Maintains a constant state of alertness and works safely in line with safety‑sensitive responsibilities. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (no experience required). License: Current RN license.
