Associate Project Manager

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking an Associate Project Manager. The selected candidate will serve as the functional lead for our team of Program Control Analysts supporting the LIDS program, providing day-to-day guidance, quality oversight, and workload coordination while assuming increasing program management responsibility across a portfolio of task orders spanning development, production, and sustainment. This is a functional team-lead role and does not carry direct personnel-management responsibility.

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day guidance to the PCA team; help analysts work through tasking hurdles and identify a path forward.
• Serve as an onboarding resource for new hires, including facility introductions and coordination of required program training (e.g., EVM, program tools).
• Monitor and balance team workloads, adjusting assignments as program needs shift; assess training and development needs.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, WBS structures, and cost accounts; set up and manage cost processing (e.g., Cobra) and apply Earned Value Management techniques.
• Maintain and report program status metrics; gather, generate, and present program data for internal and customer program reviews.
• Manage CDRL submissions; verify PCA tasking matches the program RASIC and co-maintain the PCA Tasking Matrix with the IDIQ Program Manager.
• Support the Program Manager with administrative tasking, such as maintaining program documentation (Program Plan, Communications Plan, RASIC, WBS Dictionary, Action Item (AI) Registers, etc.), maintaining security lists (SIPR, IS88, DTA, SCGs), tracking and facilitating security training, and monitoring program process adherence.
• Consolidate process improvements and lessons learned, obtaining Program Manager approval prior to implementation.

What You'll Bring

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (business administration, mathematics, or engineering) with 4+ years of related experience. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be used in lieu of the noted degree and experience.
• Proficiency in generating and tracking cost (including EVM), schedule, staff, and risk for programs, using the corresponding program control tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under general supervision and exercise sound technical judgment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (level per program requirements).

Ways to Stand Out - Preferred Requirements

• Prior experience leading or mentoring program control or financial analysts.
• Experience on IDIQ or multi-task-order defense programs spanning development, production, and sustainment.
• Familiarity with EVM cost tools (e.g., Cobra) and workforce/programmatic tools (e.g., Tempus).

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $77,000 to $116,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
