Assembler Pay Rate: $18.00/hour - $27.00/hour on W2, depending on experience. Work Schedule Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Night Shift: Monday to Thursday | 5:00 pm - 3:30 am Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday | 5:00 am - 5:30 pm Work Type Work Type: Onsite – Shreveport, LA 71107 Duration Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors. Additional Information Additional Information: Standard License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required. Raise is currently hiring an Assembler on behalf of our client. Key Responsibilities Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures. Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with theassembly and testing of products. Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques. Operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. Create labor records for all transactions. Ensure good housekeeping within own work area. Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments. Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuousimprovement. Qualifications High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly. Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.
