Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and skills to provide high-quality patient care in critical situations.

Unit Information

  • Location: Emergency Department, City, State
  • Number of Beds: 12
  • Staffing:

    • Day Shift: 5-7 RNs, 1 ER Tech (11a-11p), 1 Unit Secretary (9a-5p M-F)
    • Night Shift: 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Tech (11a-11p), 1 Unit Secretary (5p-1a M-F)
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1
  • Type of Equipment: EMR
Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following certifications and skills:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, candidates with the following skills will be given preference:
  • Strong knowledge in Neuro and Cardiac care
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Typical Procedures Performed
  • STEMI Management
  • Stroke/TPA Administration
  • Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI)
Dress Code

Preferred scrub color is royal blue, though not mandatory. Please refrain from wearing any competitor emblems.
