Core Attributes Required
- 4+ Years mold/tool maker experinced and demonstrated abilty to build, repair and troubleshoot injection molds
- High-cavitation mold experience and familiarity with complex, multi-cavity production tooling
- CAD model building expertise and strong SolidWorks capability with complex assemblies
- Full mold layout design of gating, cooling, venting, ejection systems
- HDPE molding experience and understanding of flow behavior, shrink, cooling, and high volume production needs
- DFM, GD&T tolernance analysis and ability to design for manufacturability and precision
- Modular tooling architecture experience with common mold bases, standardized inserts, interchangeable cavities
- Tooling reuse strategies for designing scalability and asset utilization
- MasterCAM experience - daily use for machining and toolpath creation
