We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Maintenance and Service Technician to join our growing commercial service team. What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment to maximize system performance and reliability

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, package units, boilers, furnaces, make-up air units, and ventilation equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, mechanical, and control system issues

• Inspect equipment, identify potential problems, and recommend appropriate repairs or replacement options

• Perform equipment startups, testing, commissioning, and system performance verification

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications to diagnose system issues

• Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings clearly with customers and internal team members

• Ensure all work is completed safely while following company standards and industry best practices

• Provide professional customer service and represent JL Anderson with integrity on every job

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC maintenance and service experience

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across a variety of commercial HVAC systems

• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, controls, and mechanical components

• Experience servicing rooftop units, package units, boilers, and other commercial comfort systems

• EPA Universal Certification required

• NATE certification or manufacturer certifications are a plus

• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical schematics

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls

• Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, lifts, and in varying weather conditions

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
