We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing organization in Nashua, New Hampshire. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys managing accurate records, keeping accounts current, and working independently in a part-time schedule of 20 to 25 hours per week. The right candidate will bring strong bookkeeping experience and confidence using QuickBooks to maintain organized and reliable financial data.

Responsibilities:
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date bookkeeping records across daily business activities.
• Manage accounts payable by reviewing invoices, preparing payments, and keeping vendor balances current.
• Oversee accounts receivable activities, including issuing invoices, tracking incoming payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank and financial accounts on a regular basis to ensure reporting accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and support clean, audit-ready records for internal review.
• Assist with updates to bookkeeping processes or financial systems as needed while preserving data accuracy and continuity.• Proven experience performing bookkeeping duties in a business environment.
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks for routine financial recordkeeping and account management.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct inconsistencies in financial records.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently within a part-time schedule of 20 to 25 hours per week.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills to keep multiple financial tasks on track.
