Summer Intern Tax Team

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join the world headquarters Tax team in May/June 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in U.S. sales tax, construction job cost analysis, tax reporting, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of state sales and use tax related to Otis construction job costs.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries in support of monthly tax reporting activities.
• Prepare and maintain various tax documentation in support of Otis field user requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Education:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Prior internship or work experience in finance or operations is a plus.

Workplace Model: Hybrid – Work from the office is required on Tuesdays.

The hourly range for this role is $20/hr to $23/hr. We may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
