- The Kitchen Manager will play a key role in supporting the healthy development of our students through providing daily lunches to the student body.
- Plan monthly menus in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Plan, cook, and serve daily lunch to students and staff
- Keep all records required for state and federal agencies in regards to school lunch
- Place and receive all orders of food and milk
- Maintain an orderly and clean kitchen and accompanying area
- Facilitate maintenance and repair of all kitchen equipment
- Kitchen Manager certification
- Food Handlers certification
- Experience in a school kitchen setting
- Experience with ordering food for school menus
- Knowledge of federal and state requirements for school lunches
