Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist

To support a growing clinical team, the contract-to-hire Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist will review clinical criteria for prior authorization decisions, communicate with patients and prescribers, and ensure prescription accuracy while working remotely during set hours. Key responsibilities Review and apply clinical criteria to complete prior authorization decisions per policy/procedure Communicate with patients and prescribers by phone/mail to resolve clinical questions Maintain quality and security standards, including controlled substances and hazardous waste processes Required qualifications Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence High School Diploma/GED (verifiable) Ability to meet remote work requirements, including high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace Reliable work history with minimal unexplained gaps or frequent short tenures Smartphone required for VPN token access
