The Winslow Hotel is seeking a personable, energetic, and service-driven Bartender to join our boutique hotel team.

At The Winslow, hospitality is personal. We are not looking for someone who simply pours drinks and processes transactions. We want someone who enjoys getting to know our guests, reading the room, anticipating needs, and creating an experience that feels individualized rather than scripted.

Our bar is an extension of the overall hotel experience, and the right person will take pride in making it a place where guests feel genuinely welcomed—whether they are stopping in for one drink after a long day, staying with us for the week, or becoming one of our familiar returning guests.

The Winslow is a smaller boutique property, and our team operates with a "one hotel, one team" mentality. Everyone has a primary role, but we also step in to support one another when business needs change.

For this position, the bar and its guests always remain the first priority . During slower periods, however, you may assist with laundry, support the Front Desk, help maintain public spaces, or take on other reasonable operational tasks.

4:00 PM – 10:30 PM

$10 - $14 hourly

As our Bartender, your primary responsibility is providing attentive, engaging bar service while maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages accurately and consistently.

• Create genuine connections with guests and personalize service whenever possible.

• Learn returning guests' preferences and help create the recognition and familiarity that define boutique hospitality.

• Maintain awareness of guests entering the bar and provide prompt service.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, stocking, and proper opening/closing standards.

• Follow all applicable alcohol-service, food-safety, cash-handling, and hotel procedures.

• Communicate closely with the Front Desk and other departments throughout the shift.

• Assist with light hotel operational tasks when bar volume allows, including supporting laundry operations and backing up the Front Desk as needed .

• Immediately return focus to the bar whenever guests require service.

• Work collaboratively across departments rather than viewing the bar as a stand-alone operation.

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.

• Able to recognize when a guest wants conversation and when they simply want quiet, efficient service.

• Detail-oriented and attentive to cleanliness and presentation.

• Comfortable moving between responsibilities as hotel needs change.

• Team-oriented and willing to assist outside their primary department.

• Calm and professional when handling guest concerns.

• Able to maintain appropriate boundaries and professionalism while still creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

• Comfortable working in a boutique environment where individualized service matters more than scripted interactions .

Previous bartending, hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred. Candidates must meet all applicable Oklahoma requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
