The unit consists of 15 staff members. Staffing includes a Day Shift Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Technicians, and 1 Unit Secretary. During the Night Shift, there is also a Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Technicians, and 1 Unit Secretary. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 4:1. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs. Candidates should be active and personable. Preferred skills include trauma experience.
