Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Deliver high-quality patient care for ICU admissions, focusing on multi-system organ failure, DKA, sepsis, and other critical conditions
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including CNA, charge nurse, and respiratory therapist
• Perform all phlebotomy draws and assist with arterial blood gases

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system
• Skills in tracheostomy, ventilator management, and cardiovascular complications
