Surgical Technician (CST) – ORCenterPoint Health, a part of Lifepoint Health, is a regional healthcare provider serving communities across Central Kentucky, including the nine-county region of Greater Lexington. Our Behavioral Health department also utilizes certified therapy dogs in the healing process when applicable.A Surgical Technician (CST) who excels in this role:Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, including instruments, equipment, and suppliesAssist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needsPerform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies to ensure patient safetyHandle, label, and maintain specimens according to protocolClean, sterilize, and restock surgical instruments and operating rooms following proceduresWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
