Your Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT methodologies to execute precise diagnostic images necessary for physician analysis
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnostic procedures
- Position patients effectively and tune equipment settings to achieve superior imaging outcomes
- Implement radiation safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues alike
- Maintain thorough and current records, including imaging logs and equipment service reports
- Deliver compassionate patient care throughout the imaging course
- Foster a safe, organized, and efficient workspace in the imaging department
Educational Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiology program
Essential Certifications
- ARRT certification (in CT and/or Radiography)
- Current BLS certification or willingness to acquire within 90 days of employment
Valuable Skills
- Solid understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety regulations
- Strong communication abilities with patients and collaborative staff
