Validation Engineer

Our client, a leader in vehicle development and autonomous systems, is seeking a Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Validation Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle Development department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather comprehensive requirements

Develop and execute test plans for firmware and hardware integration on new ECU components

Ensure robust verification of bootloader, power management, and network communication requirements

Actively troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in both manufacturing and operational fleet settings

Collaborate closely with Vehicle System Engineers to address design issues and propose long-term solutions

BS or higher in Electrical/Electronics/Systems/Mechanical Engineering or a related field

3-5 years of experience in controller validation/integration

Proficiency in diagnosing complex controlled systems, including CAN, LIN, or Ethernet network issues

Skilled in MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar tools

Experience with data acquisition equipment, voltage power supply, oscilloscope and sensors
