Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care

Location: Rochester, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care in a long-term care setting. The LPN will support a team caring for geriatric residents and oversee medication administration, as well as manage a team of Certified Nursing Aides (CNAs). This role requires the ability to work independently while maintaining the dignity and respect of all residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to long-term care residents.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with care plans.
• Oversee and collaborate with CNAs in providing quality care.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to address resident needs.
• Maintain respectful and dignified interactions with residents.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• NY State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting.
