Software Research Engineer - C++

Overview This project aims to leverage C++ to develop an Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) networking infrastructure in an O-RAN compatible private 5G network deployment. In addition to enabling networking infrastructure, the project co‑develops UE‑side applications with O-RAN‑side radio resource control algorithms in the form of xApps to demonstrate application performance boost achieved via cross‑layer optimizations. Responsibilities Develop C++‑based O‑RAN networking infrastructure. Co‑develop UE‑side applications and xApps with radio resource control algorithms. Implement cross‑layer optimizations to boost application performance. Qualifications MS or PhD (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Strong C++ development experience. Algorithm development and optimization skills. Nice to Have Experience with Open Radio Access Network deployment.
