Travel Registered Nurse CICU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse, Cardiac ICU (CICU) travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,768–$1,910 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the CICU for adults after open-heart, vascular and thoracic procedures.
- Monitor hemodynamics, interpret telemetry, and administer vasoactive medications per protocol.
- Manage complex devices and therapies common to cardiac ICU care (including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, epicardial pacemakers) as trained.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, including pain management, sedation as appropriate, and family communication.
- Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately; ensure infection control and safety standards are consistently applied.
- Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions and participate in code/rapid-response activities as needed.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in CICU/Cardiac ICU or equivalent high-acuity cardiac specialty.
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred; NIHSS highly desirable.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-pressure, fast-paced CICU environment.
- Proven capacity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and to follow rigorous credentialing and policy requirements.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality improvement in cardiac critical care.
