ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed) Job Description Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care for adults with a variety of post-surgical diagnoses. This role requires the ability to float to different areas within the unit as needed. Responsibilities Deliver patient care for adults with conditions including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity. Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes as required. Monitor patient conditions and provide interventions as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical nursing role. Active New York RN License. Current AHA BLS certification. NURSYS report for license verification. Experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC. Why ARMStaffing?
