Registered Nurse (Med-Surg) - Night Shift

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 7:00PM - 7:00AM, 36 hours per week with rotating weekends.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg unit team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal health outcomes. The position requires excellent clinical skills, professionalism, and a commitment to patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in health status.
• Perform EKGs, venipuncture, and other procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med-Surg setting.
• Current Georgia RN license.
• BLS certification required.
