Urgent Care LVN

Pay: $37.17/hour
Location: Cypress, TX (city/state only)
Type: Contract / Temporary
Schedule: 75 hours bi-weekly, including every other weekend (shifts generally fall within clinic operating hours)

Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced LVN to support a fast-paced, patient-facing urgent care/clinic environment. In this role, you’ll deliver evidence-based care, support patient education, and document thoroughly in the EMR while collaborating with the clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and perform routine clinical assessments
• Administer medications and treatments as appropriate (oral/injectable/topical, etc.)
• Monitor and document vital signs and treatment responses
• Perform and support clinical services such as vaccines, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
• Complete accurate documentation in an electronic medical record (Epic preferred)
• Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked clinical environment
• Provide strong patient communication and support care coordination/resources as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LVN license (must be in good standing)
• BLS certification (must remain valid beyond the start of assignment)
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year related healthcare experience
• Prior experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
• Experience with vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
• EMR experience (Epic preferred)
