Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiac care as a Cath Lab RN in a state-of-the-art facility, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Deliver high-quality nursing support within a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to advanced cardiac treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Execute diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, and stress tests.
• Administer patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain strict adherence to hospital and unit policies, including documenting procedures accurately in Merge-Cath Lab and Meditech systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless workflow.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and potential emergencies during procedures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of Cath Lab equipment and maintaining sterile technique.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid KY Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT and RCIS certifications; minimum 2 years of relevant Cath Lab experience.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications for Cath Lab RN scope of practice.
• Demonstrate proven proficiency in diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures.
• Have at least 1 year of travel experience in the Cath Lab setting.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills in a high-pressure environment.
