Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Nurse), Medical Surgical Floor (MS), Hastings, Nebraska. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations within a MedSurg unit. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Location: Hastings, Nebraska
• Schedule: 12 hours shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a MedSurg setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Chest tube experience, pain management, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), wound care, charge nurse experience (considered a plus)
• Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible to work every third holiday; may float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed; no call or standby required; no self-scheduling; work with block scheduling to accommodate travel nurses; unit handles patients with diagnoses such as dementia, post-surgical needs, influenza, pneumonia, failure to thrive, cancer, COVID-19
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
